    3. Hello David   There is a John F Parker and his wife Ann which match the criteria you have given.  Elizabeth is there too along with quite a few siblings although Charles isn't there.  It's on Piece 3353, Folio 78, Page 19 Patricia R McCrory Lincolnshire Family History Society http://www.lincolnshirefhs.org.uk             ________________________________ From: Cynthias Cottages <cyncots@lando.co.za> To: eng-lincsgen@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, 3 January 2012, 15:26 Subject: Re: [LIN] Admin. note: January. John Parker   In 1861 census John Parker and his wife Ann live in Osbournby  with two   children, Elizabeth and Charles. Not one of them come up in 1871.   Possibility they emigrated?     David Parker     South Africa.   On 2012/01/02 12:17 PM, PJHansen13@aol.com wrote: January theme for list members:  We are going to help you find  lost souls in the census.  Tell us who disappears in 1871, for example,  and our detectives will hunt them down and report their whereabouts.  We'll also give you the piece number, the folio and page number so that you  can find them yourselves if you don't believe us.  Remember, we can't  send a copy of the page to the list because attachments aren't  allowed. ======= I would appreciate it very much if someone could find George Norris  Lineham, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth.  George was baptized Christmas  Eve o f 1836 in Metheringham.  I am missing census records for 1841 and  1851.  An older sister, Mary, was baptized there on 23 Feb 1834.  Since their parents were married in 1820, I strongly suspect that there were  other children before Mary, and possibly after George. I do not have any of the census records for their father, Thomas  Lineham who was baptized in Kirton In Holland on 28 Dec 1795.  Thomas and  Elizabeth were married in Timberland on 4 July 1820. So those that I am looking for are additional children of Thomas and  Elizabeth.  Logically there should be additional children.  I have  seen MANY variations in the spelling of the surname, many of which I have  thought impossible, but then the children in the records match up with the  records tha t George's wife wrote down and gave to my grandmother for future  reference. I understand that at least part of the time George was referred to as  Norris.  According to the archives in London the family had been in  Lincolnshire since at least the early 1600's. Anything you might find would be welcomed.         Patricia ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@root sweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
