George was baptized Christmas Eve o f 1836 in Metheringham. I am missing census records for 1841 and 1851. An older sister, Mary, was baptized there on 23 Feb 1834. Since their parents were married in 1820, I strongly suspect that there were other children before Mary, and possibly after George. I do not have any of the census records for their father, Thomas Lineham who was baptized in Kirton In Holland on 28 Dec 1795. Thomas and Elizabeth were married in Timberland on 4 July 1820. So those that I am looking for are additional children of Thomas and Elizabeth. Logically there should be additional children. I have seen MANY variations in the spelling of the surname, many of which I have thought impossible, but then the children in the records match up with the records tha t George's wife wrote down and gave to my grandmother for future reference. I understand that at least part of the time George was referred to as Norris. According to the archives in London the family had been in Lincolnshire since at least the early 1600's. Anything you might find would be welcomed.
