I have been able to access the Gale newspaper archive via Hampshire libraries on-line service by entering my library card number at log on. However my research is mainly LINCOLNSHIRE (for my wife's tree) and East Anglia (my tree) and I can find no newspapers listed for either area. On consulting the local librarian they are under the impression all newspapers are provided for via Hampshire. Are they mistaken or are no papers from my areas archived by Gale? What is the solution please? You need to access the British Newspaper Archive for UK newspapers. Gale do have access to other publications such as professional and trade journals. I hope this helps. Guy, If you look in the newspaper by location part of the website you will find several newspapers that cover Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire. I often articles for Lincolnshire in Nottinghamshire newspapers, and also Hull Packet, but Lincolnshire itself is not best served by this resource.
