Nivard, the 1st is from the St Nicholas parish register, the second from the Newport Cemetery burial register. I suspect that the third may be from yet another register, but would have to check this. I presume the burial service took place at St Nicholas with St John, Newport, and as he was buried in Newport Cemetery he is also entered in their burial register. Hmm, St Nicholas has a burial register up to 1992, but St John Newport only has burials up to 1803. I will pass the query on to the Burials Index co-ordinator for a better answer. He appears once on the Parish Register burials CD (1813-1900) - the address is Harrison Pl, by the way, and once on the Lincoln Cemetery Burials CD, where his abode is given as St John. Hi Anne Thank you for that information, I thought it must be a service and burial I have found on occasion two entries but can't recall finding three before In 1881 he is living at 10 Harrisons Place Lincoln so that fits well Does the cemetery entry show any relation to the grave location? My brother in law says he would like to visit if he can locate the grave Much appreciate the help Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Nivard, the 1st is from the St Nicholas parish register, the second from the > Newport Cemetery burial register.
