Hi, Missing Lincs, The list is getting about 4 spam messages a day and all, so far, have been caught by the Rootsweb e-mail filters. I get to review them and delete them daily. I also need to remind a few of you that the mailing list software will not allow "formatted" messages to post. Those would be messages with HTML markup tags or what we used to call "pretty text". Most e-mail software, for some reason, comes with that feature as the default mode. It lets you add a signature line in purple script or to format your paragraphs in block style, et cetera. But it also allows malicious text to be imbedded (like viruses). So, to post to the list, you have to set your message to "plain text". Somewhere in your e-mail software there is a "button" or a menu item that will do that. Look it up in the "Help" menu if you can't easily find it. I really want to see your posts, but we don't get to see them if they are "pretty". That said, I have to add that I found "Innocent" as a surname in Derbyshire, mid 1800s. LKou (list admin.)
