Hi Fay & All I'm still trying to find the father and mother of my Thomas SHARP/E born circa 1730-35 who married 15 May 1756 Rachel Kerlew in Pinchbeck. I see in Free Reg there is a Thomas bapt. 02 Jun 1861 at Dorrington, Fay, ...father Anthony? Mother Harriet. Have you connected him to your bunch? For the information of them that don't know...Fay and I are connected through the Plowrights so it seems plausible that our Sharp/es who both married Plowrights may be related to each other as well. Linda B.C. Canada Dear " Sharp/e Family Listers", To add to the confusion there were so many "Sharp/e's " throughout Lincolnshire that many are related including my mob, but must add...caution should be taken at all times with this Surname as I have gone up the wrong tree a couple of times until I had Primary Records to validate my work.. I have researched my lot back to Dorrington, Lincs to William Sharp/e born Circa. 1740 who married Dorothy Phillips ( akas Phalaps" born Circa 1730....and am still finding more...What I have done in my Ancestry Tree is make up a File of all the unrelated "Sharp/e's " and as I do my research in hopes of matching some of those Un-related to my lot... Hope that makes sense.. My GG Grandparents Edward & Susannah Sharp ( nee Plowright) sent two of their sons Jonathan Plowright and Edward to a private Boys school in Bourne... refer 1841 UK Census in Bourne... Cheers for now. Fay Queesland.
