    3. Hello the list, I have an ALBERT RICHARDSON marrying a lady called EMILY ELEANOR LLOYD at the parish church in Alford in 1899. Albert was a Sergeant in the Scots Guards at the time and went to South Africa for the Second Boer War with his battalion later in 1899. I cannot find any reason for the location of this marriage as both parties came from Shorditch in London! Was there a camp nearby where ALBERT might have been in training?
