If he died in the UK the record should be quite easy to find. I ran a quick check on Ancestors on Board and found a few Albert Richardsons born 1904, who sailed. Other checks could be local directories or electoral registers to see for how long the family lived at the same address. From this could you work out possible schools he went to? Have you tried the N Lincs libraries, archives etc website? Also, have you tried the CWGC for WW2 deaths? How about the London Gazette records online? These are the immediate avenues of search I can think of. I hope this helps.
