Hi there. I've found my 4x great-grandmother, Martha Mountain, being christened at St Botolphs (Boston Stump) on 2 January 1821. Her parents were William & Mary Mountain. (I've got this record off the new Family Search site). I can't find any other children to William & Mary or their marriage. Does anyone have info on this family? I know that William Mountain was a Shoemaker. Martha Mountain married William Thompson in Lincoln in 1837 - at the time Martha's residence is Waterside, Lincoln. Thanks Sue New Zealand

I lived in Boston, Lincs in the 1960s and there was and still is a Mountains, Butchers shop .... If this is your family, let me know and I will see what I can find out for you.
