I am looking for John Bloom born about 1701 at Wrangle or any other early Blooms from this or Boston area, information appreciated. Regards John
Hello John The General Register for Wrangle (1652 - 1737) is available to see on Lincs to the Past. It really is worth taking a look. Good luck. Does anyone know of any on line or easily available records of Suffragettes in Lincolnshire, particularly Gainsborough area? Paul >
All I can tell you for sure that no suffragettes will appear on the 1911 census as they boycotted it, because the man was always listed as the head of the household. I have a copy of the 1911 census in which the suffragette I was researching wrote across the census page 'women don't matter so they will not be counted' Victor On 05/02/2012 2:20 PM, elaine westaway wrote: > All I can tell you for sure that no suffragettes will appear on the 1911 census as they boycotted it, because the man was always listed as the head of the household. > Elaine > > > ________________________________ > From: "pewfh@yahoo.co.uk"<pewfh@yahoo.co.uk> > To: "eng-lincsgen@rootsweb.com"<eng-lincsgen@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, 5 February 2012, 12:00 > Subject: [LIN] Suffragette (WSPU) Records > > Does anyone know of any on line or easily available records of Suffragettes in Lincolnshire, particularly Gainsborough area? > > Paul > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
