Hi, Missing Lincs, I need help from someone who knows Alackby parish real well. It appears that the churchyard was closed for burials and that a new "civil" public cemetery was opened. But I can find no proof. Is there a public (or "Civil") cemetery in Aslackby? When did the churchyard close? Lou
Hi Lou, I just Googled 'Folkingham airfield', and got a huge page of images which includes the rhyme I mentioned on the gatepost, as well as 'planes, scrap vehicles, racing cars, and the memorial in the new burial ground.
