    3. Hi Jan I suggest familysearch but have looked for you and found nothing too likely. FreeBMD (for whom I was transcribing until my supervisor's email ceased to reply) only go back to 1837 when registration started. Parish records may be the place to look and I note someone has sent you a list of surrounding villages. I had a family of ancestors in Hogsthorpe and have a tapestry, dated 1856, done by my ggrandmother there. She was missing from the local baptism record but later I found her on FreeBMD baptised in St Leonards, on the coast nearby. Good luck!
