Hi, Missing Lincs,     I've noticed that a few of our local parish councils decided to have an "onlien presence" a few years ago, but some of their websites haven't been updated since 2012 or earlier.  If your parish council hasn't posted anything to the website in a few years, are you still paying for that site out of council fees?     Does the website tell visitors anything about the local war memorial, the cemetery or the local school?  Why not?  Go to a council meeting and suggest that they let you contribute something to the website.  Oh, you can sneak in a bit of family history too, for all I care.  Pictures of GGGrandpa's shop.  No sweat.     Remind them that they need to engage the younger "Smart phone" generation and that a static website is NOT the way to do it.  Facebook is "old hat", but better than nothing.  What have they got to hide?  Don't be proud of having the oldest web page on the internet.     Put it on your calender NOW.  And give 'em Heck.           Lou (list admin.)
