Lou, that is an important reminder that people need to keep seeing. My husband had been working on updating his will, "fine tuning" it as things came to mind. Then one evening two months ago he had a heart attack. Luckily I got him to the best hospital quickly and he was allowed to leave a week later. As soon as he got back home he decided to finish it up, have it notarized, and filed with the county court. Now I have the original and a couple of copies, stored in our home safe, and each of his children has a copy. The crazy part is that about 10 years ago his first wife had died without a will after nearly 40 years of marriage. Every once in a while he still has to deal with some little detail that he had not known about, so he knows the importance of having a current will!
