Hello Missing Lincs, Whilst on holiday in Crete, I visited the Commonwealth War Grave Cemetery at Suda Bay. There is one Lincolnshire serviceman buries there an Officer Steward 2nd Class of the Royal Navy who served on HMS Pelorus and died on 15 October 1916. According to the CWGC website he was the son of John Frith, 7 Frodingham Pathway, Scunthorpe, Lincs. I have taken a photo of the grave (along with all other WW1 servicemen buried there) and was wandering whether there are any list members who can add to the scarce information that I have.
