My notes tell me that Mary was born in South Luffenham down in Rutland in 1774, but I have not proved that since I don't have her last name. I found Mary BREWSTER in the 1851 census, widow, with one child, Rebecca. They are living in Witham on the Hill. Mary is age 77, pauper. Rebecca, is age 36, married, born down in Deal, Kent. Rebecca dies in 1959 and is buried in Witham on the Hill at age 45. Mary's marriage was NOT in the BVRI#2. If I knew more about Mary, I might be able to find out more about John.
