Lou Regarding Marys born in South Luffenham in 1774, I have found a Mary ARCHER baptised on 5th June, daughter of Robert and Rebecca (mother's name may be significant); and according to familysearch there was a marriage at Deal on 29th Dec 1812 between a Mary ARCHER and a John BENSON - I would be interested to consult the original register to verify John's surname. But of course, if your Mary married John at the age of about 40 there must be a very good chance that she had been married before. Hope there is enough Lincolnshire in this post...
