Her death is registered Sept Q 1946 Lincoln ________________________________ From: elaine westaway <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, 19 May 2014, 21:02 Subject: [LIN] Beatrice Hackney I am trying to find any newpaper articles on the death in 1945 of Beatrice Hackney. She weighed in at 38 stone (before it was fashionable to weigh in at such amounts) and apparently was the largest lady in Lincoln, and they had to take most of the front of the house off to get her body out, she was the owner of the a fish and chip shop on steep hill, which probably explains as fish and chips were not rationed how she got to such a weight in times of rationing, she was also my great grandmother, any help would be much appreciated.
