Hi, Missing Lincs, 'Tis April Foist! All Souls Day in most countries. Aprils Fool's Day in those with too many politicians. For most of us, it's a day to have our morning tea and bask in the sunshine. I had a good Spring shower while enjoying my cuppa. Time to take a walk around the "estate" and make notes of all the projects: 1. Fix the garage door so it doesn't fall on Stephanie's car 2. Muck out the stalls in the barn 3. Put in the Spring bulbs 4. Gaze longingly at the seed packets in the gardening shop. 5. Turn over the calendar page(s) to the correct month. Well, you know the rest. Is it time to clean the computer? Is it time to backup those important files? Hey, Fiona, how's that pile of combustible paper coming along? Now, you set down in NZ, I know it's slightly different because you've got to get feed in for the animals before it snows and stock up on food for yourself for when you can't get to market because of the rains or snow. But here's your task for family history this month. Find a family in your tree that needs a little more "fleshing out". Make notes on what you need, then share it with someone down at the Archives, or in the Family History Centre. Get a second opinion on where to look. Or, gosh, share it with us! We'll not only tell you where to look, we might even find some of it for you. Yes, any family, but try to keep it to Lincolnshire. Now, if you have to post it to a list for Alberta or Derbyshire or Oxfordshire, I'm OK with that. I won't mind. I'll even give you a kiss on the cheek for making another list help you. Hmmm, Oxfordshire. That reminds me.... Oh, and kiss your sweetie before you rush off to the library. Spread a little love. Just don't be the fool! Lou (list admin.)
