Hi, I can see that Samuel was sent to Norfolk Island in 1846, but was back in Tasmania for the Ledger Returns in 1849 which stated that he was hired by MR E ARCHER of Longford in Tasmania. Convicts were mostly sent to Norfolk Island when they re-offended..and then received his pardon in 1854/55.
