Hello: Robert Markham of Sedgebrook (Bt.1): According to book value, he was (b:1600 in Whitsun-week: 7th Sunday after Easter) (1600.04.02 (Sun): 21-27.05.1600 7th Sunday ?) I assume in Sedgebrook. Is there a bp/chr record for him ?. Robert Markham of Sedgebrook (Bt.2): chr:10-12-1643: Was this in Newark or Sedgebrook, Lincolnshire ?. Cheers - Bart. ==============
Hi Bart You can look at the scans of the baptism register for Sedgebrook (in Lincolnshire) for 1599 onwards on the Lincs to the Past website. http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=743117&iid=343987 it includes both dates. I find the 1600 entry illegible, but you may have more luck. It's image 21, when you find the correct register. However, in clear text in image 42 in the same book, underneath an entry '1643' and possible 'Christmas', there is a report of Robert Markham son of Robert Markham Baronet of Newark December. It has been overwritten, I think, some time in the past, and the rest of the page is illegible (to me). Good luck- maybe your eyesight (or patience) is better than mine.
