    3. Hello all, I have a puzzle. I have references for deaths of Frances and John WILKINSON, in Kirmond le Mire Parish records from Lincs to the Past. no.12, Frances Wilkinson, Kirmond, August 22nd 1830, 62 years, Thorpe (this is Curate) no.30, John Wilkinson May 13, South Willingham (abode), April 27 1841, 74 years, Edwd Gove, Curate I also have a Lincolnshire Monumental Inscription from findmypast for John: John Wilkinson, male, 74, birth year 1767, death year 1841, death date 24 Apr 1841, headstone notes: husband of Frances, burial ground St Martin, parish Kirmond le Mire, .... The 1841 census was night of 6 June, so John just missed it, but his son Thomas and family is in Kirmond in 1841 (They are in Binbrook in 1851) John and Frances (Lamming) were married in Binbrook, children all born in Hawerby cum Beesby, then Thomas was married in South Cockerington and children born in Kirmond. It seems I have the right John and that he and Frances moved to Kirmond with son Thomas, but I am puzzled. Do I ? I am puzzled by the May 13 written under his name on the parish record and the South Willingham location given. This location is further away than all the others, all right near each other. I have found no one else there either. Would they have moved the body? I think he may have come to stay with his son and then died there. And, the May 13? Might this be when the record was entered? Wife Frances' parish record entry was "omitted" according to a note on the edge of the paper and her 1830 death was entered after a 1831 death. Both entries were made late? Hers a year? Was this common? In her case, the deaths go 1824, 1831, 1830, 1832. What do you make of this? Are there any other records I can check? Opinions, please! Thanks Kathryne Natale New York, USA
