Hello Roger, It would appear to be one of the areas out in the East, West, Wildmore and Holland Fens to the north of Boston were allotted to the surrounding established parishes - there is reference to the road in William Henry Wheeler's History of the Fens of South Lincolnshire https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=edL1AAAAQBAJ&pg=PA71&lpg=PA71&dq=whistle y+bridge+boston&source=bl&ots=bXSPep_Wbz&sig=xwVuyeE67R69NuciNddWczip9X8&hl= en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiUqsfmgYrMAhUGCw8KHaUdD08Q6AEIKjAC#v=onepage&q=whistley%2 0bridge%20boston&f=false The maps I produced for the Gazetteer of place names in Lincolnshire published by the Lincolnshire family History Society show how the various parts of these new drained Fens were carved up. These were known as Fen Allotments. Fishtoft received parcels in three of the Fens (not Holland Fen) parts of which were subsequently transferred to newly formed Parishes, Frithville and Langriville c 1880. Therefore to try and narrow it down which year is your reference and the source? It might help narrow down the map search parameter.
