Barb, I am an American. I signed up last year for a reduced rate trial subscription. I connected to a two people working on the same family and it was helpful. They were not on the other American giant, Ancestry.com. However, I did not renew my subscription because I thought their database was not as big as Ancestry and the family members they sent me were only a couple of generations back and I already had the info. The big problem is the automatic renewal. I had heard there was a problem in unsubscribing, so I contacted them on the website about a week before the subscription ended and told the I did not want to renew. The website noted the subscription ended. When the date passed I got a notice from them that they had renewed me and taken the money from my credit card. I had to contact the person in the email to tell them not to renew and return my payment.. They eventually did, but I thought it was a hassle. Lots of family links/names have been sent through for free. I'm amazed at the number of family names they have of mine. > > My query is, do you know of the site and if so, is it worth subscribing to? > > Regards. > Barbara. > > Sent from my iPad > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
