    3. I think that you might be looking for a depository close to Wrawby where you know that there is a local link. Wrawby is in North Lincolnshire - and contrary to what has been said earlier there is not a County archives for this relatively new county. The Lincolnshire archives hold records for the whole of Lincolnshire (as it was). There is a North East Lincolnshire archive collection at Grimsby, which does hold some North Lincolnshire records - but not an obvious place to check for those of us living in the North Lincolnshire area. A couple of suggestions would be the Lincolnshire archives and maybe Wrawby itself. It does have an active History Group and I could find out whether they would be able to look after a copy of your book for posterity. Let me know, if I can help I will.  Pat Horton - Hibaldstow   ________________________________ From: Bart Simon <thewanderer@iburst.co.za> To: ENG-LINCSGEN <ENG-LINCSGEN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, 16 November, 2011 18:09:49 Subject: [LIN] Markham of Wrawby and Keelby Lincs [!!!] Mye Goodye Cosynes !!! http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/ENG-LINCSGEN/2006-11/1163054628 http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/eng-lincsgen/2006-11/1163175659 I was on this list for a short period of time in 2006, in conjunction with another Markham, Bernie, and Susan Reynolds, I was able to find out my James Frederick Markham's birth date and record, as well as his correct parents. A complete milestone, and then back to Wrawby where the family had a long association there, and then back to Keelby it seems. My Benjamin Markham is b:01-04-1841 at Louth, (and not the 15 year old (Porter) Benjamin Markham in London in 1841 Census.), and his parents are Thomas Markham a coach maker of Wrawby and Hannah Ward of Hull?. How do I get a birth certificate for James Frederick Markham ?. Also, since this Markham family is much from Wrawby and Keelby, once I have finished my genealogical book, at which 1-3 places could I leave a copy of this book for keeping and preservation etc. ?. Which would be the best places to submit a few copies of my book ?. Yours Sincerely,   Sir Ken Markham, K.C.B.(95) ================================ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
