    3. I have a problem sorting through my HUTTON family in Saltfleetby, Hameringham, Kirkby and Tumby. I begin with Henry HUTTON b 1769 Saltfleetby & Elizabeth BANCROFT b Saltfleetby 1777 who married about 1797. They have at least 12 children as follows: Elizabeth b 1798 Joseph b 1800 Catherine b 1804 Ann b 1805 Sarah b 1807 David Bancroft b 1809 Eve b 1810 All the above were b Saltfleetby and baptised at Saltfleetby All Saints. Henry b 1812 Jane b 1814 Edward b 1817 Mary b 1819 Charlotte b 1821 I see no reason not to believe this second bunch were also b and b Saltfleetby but the parish records for that period just show a blank page. Q: If anyone can provide details for me on this lot it will be appreciated. Another issue I am having difficulty with is Joseph HUTTON b 1800 (as above) I have him married to Ann CLARKE in Hameringham May 16 1825 with children as follows: Elizabeth b 1825, Hameringham Joseph b 1828, Hameringham This family shows up on the 1841 census living in Kirkby Upon Blaine, with Joseph aged 40, Ann aged 40, an older child, Ann aged 12, Elizabeth aged 10 (May not be the one b 1825), Catherine aged 8 and Henry aged 6. Q: Is this the same family or have I misstepped somewhere? And to confuse things a bit more Joseph (b 1800) shows up on the 1851 census in Tumby with his mother Elizabeth aged 75, son Joseph aged 23 b Hameringham, daughter Elizabeth aged 26 b Hameringham (perhaps a daughter in law) and Ann (granddaughter), aged 5 moths, b Tumby. Both the younger Joseph and Elizabeth are listed as being unmarried. Something does not add up here. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Phil

Both the younger > Joseph and Elizabeth are listed as being unmarried. Both Joseph & his mother give born Southletby and the census ages are consistent with baptism dates. Bernie
