    3. Hi List, I have recently discovered a Charlotte Bingley who died in October 1840 in the Lincoln Workhouse after choking on a piece of food. I'm not certain it is her as I don't know her age from the document I have. I have found that there are 1839-1843 admissions papers as well as a burial register for the workhouse grounds. I would be grateful if anyone who has access to these records or indexes could provide any more information. I believe Charlotte be my 5 x Gt Grandmother - her husband died 16 years earlier also in Lincoln whilst driving a Coach Box ! Regards, Sam.

    3. She was 53 according to the burial register (published on microfiche). I presume you have the inquest report - it is on the Inquest Vol. 1 CD. I don't have the admissions on my computer and my fiche reader is away in a cupboard at the moment!
