Hi, Missing Lincs,     This month, in honor of Remembrance Day, I have been updating the parish profiles on Rootsweb and Genuki with information on their military history, if I can find some.  In some cases the Royal Flying Corps established a grass airfield in WWI as an emergency or relief landing field in a parish, but nothing much was ever done with it.  So far, I've only gotten parishes starting with A through F finished.  If you know of a special military history for a parish, please let me know.     Also,a reminder.  Some of you get your mail automatically forwarded.  If so, you can't post to the list from that receiving account.  You have to use the one that is subscribed to the list.  Rootsweb/Ancestry does this to limit spamming.  It would be better if you unsubscribed the old address and subscribed the new one.  Also, if you use that "wonderful" feature of "auto-reply" when you go on vacation, your subscription will be "auto-dropped" by Rootsweb/Ancestry.  I'd hate to loose you, but computers are stubborn.  Now, if you have a subscription/unsubscription problem, get me involved.     Now, turn off your computer and wipe down the keyboard with a disinfectant cloth,  Ta ta for now.      Lou (list admin.)
