I would really like to invite my 4 x Grandfather Elijah Shaw for Christmas Dinner. I have been looking for info about him for about 5 yrs with no luck! His son was born in Market Deeping in 1843 and his wife was Ann Hall. His trade was travelling Potter, but they seem to have settled in Lincolnshire. No sign of Elijah, Ann or Aaron on 1851 or 1861 census. Was he of Irish descent? At least if he came to dinner he could answer my questions! Oh well I will keep trying.
