Thank you Mick for offering to take photos of my SMITHs at Cowbit churchyard. A member of Lincs Family History Society has taken a photo for me. Unfortunately I cannot read the bottom part as it is covered with lichen but the main part is in good condition. If you happen to walk around the churchyard after Christmas and can decipher it for me I would appreciate it otherwise will be happy with what I have about the gravestone of my 3 X great grandparents. Regards from Jill Penrose in New Zealand. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mick Claxton" <mick.claxton@ntlworld.com> To: <eng-lincsgen@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 2011 9:02 PM Subject: Re: [LIN] Cowbit Church - Smith tombstones > Hello Jill. > I will be in the Cowbit area just after christmas so if no one comes back > to > you, give me a reminder around that time and i'll drop in at the church. > Mick > > Lincolnshire FreeReg co-ordinator. http://www.freereg.org.uk/ > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > ENG-LINCSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > ----- > No virus found in this message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 2012.0.1873 / Virus Database: 2102/4646 - Release Date: 11/29/11 >
