    3. Hi list just found a burial entry on freeReg for possible relative William EVISON [Louth St James register entry # 1310], buried 11 May 1848, aged 33. A note comment indicates he was buried 'By coroner's warrant' - does this mean there may be further information to be located perhaps in a local newspaper or something? The inference is that he has not died a natural death so am wondering how I can find out more from here in NZ. cheers Lynda Christchurch NZ

    3. There was an inquest which was reported in the Lincoln, Rutland and Stamford Mercury on the 12th May 1848. The fairly long inquest report is transcribed on the Inquests Vol. 2 CD published by the LFHS. I noticed a few other Evison inquests whilst I was searching for this one. Before I go down that track further, would you happen to know if his wife or family are mentioned in any way as if she is, it could mean this gent is one of mine. Her name was that good old needle in the haystack 'Mary'.. they had a child Emma ..... cheers Lynda
