    3. Revisit old documents , ask a new question. My G G grandfather had a codicil with the will. One executor had been removed and another added. The first name I traced, lived a long time 3 marriages ,several businesses ,bankruptcy and moves around the country. Why did gGgrandfather replace him? Had they fallen out, had difference of opinion, even quarrelled. Did ggrandfather suspect something dodgy ? Notice dates again, when research has moved on a date may show more significance. The will I mentioned was drawn up just 1 week after a son had died of alcoholism in his 30s. I never noticed the date the first time looking. Check exact dates. One family branch said father did not approve of her marriage. I checked dates and found that he was dead months before she married.

    3. No Pamela , it is Mary ROW(E) (nee BROWN) living in Hull, where she and Robert ROW(E) had married in 1832 . As, mentioned Mary is not my ancestor so really don't know too many details of her except that there are a number of Mary BROWNs baptised/bn within the time frame of this lady. Trish is trying of course to define a birth/baptism place from the census.Unfortunately she had died before 1891 1841 36 Not bn Yks 1851 49 "Washingborn"?? I took another look at this and now think perhaps it "could" be Washingboro 1861 50 Gainsborough (dittoed from line above) ** most likely this age should be 59 1871 69 Lincolnshire 1881 76 Lincoln She died in 1890 age stated as 76.
