Dear Listers, Sorry about the delay in posting this week's list, but I was "Up the Douro" checking on this year's grape harvest and boy does it look good! Port lovers, please note ... Genealogically also it was a very successful trip as, thanks to a chance email several months ago, I was put into touch with a long-lost relative of my husband's who this weekend, at the age of 72, visited the country his father grew up in for the very first time ever. His father died when he was a small boy and his family had lost touch with the rest of us in Portugal so we had a great time getting to know each other and teaching him about his family!
