I am trying to research SYKES for a friend. I have a WILLIAM SYKES who married a MARY BATTYE in abt 1900. He was reportedly a Solicitor in LEEDS. His father we believe was a SAMUEL SYKES a Farmer in Leeds. Any assistance would be appreciated as we have very limited resources here.
