I have been checking some entries on LDS Film No.2170003 (Waddel to Waddicar) and noted that documents relating to 40689 Pte Michael Madden (with an M) of the East Lancs Regt. are included - Pte. Madden is stated to be of Burnley. I have no interest in the MADDEN name - but thought someone should know of this 'misplaced' soldier.
