Hi, I have re-subscribed to the list after a good while off. I wonder if anyone can help me? Most of my ancestors were based in and around the Lancashire area, but one family ended up in St Petersburgh, Russia, and most of the children were born out there, between 1850 and 1860. All of these children were christened at The British Chaplaincy. What is the best way to get hold of their birth certificates and/or christening documents? Any suggestions welcome.
