This is a long shot - hoping someone out there might be able to help me solve my mystery!! Found links in a house lived in by BUTLERs and HEATHERILLs in Leicester to a girl called Amelia SAVILLE born 1821 in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire. Butlers have been in Leicester since at least 1825, Heatherills came to Leicester from Glasgow between 1881 and 1901. Butlers have married NORTONs from Kettering, and Heatherills have married MONTEATHs from Scotland. What I don't know is where Amelia fits in (if she fits in - she could just have been a friend)!! Can find plenty of ancestors for Amelia - but no marriage or descendants. Her parents were George Saville and Mary SUTTON, and she had 4 brothers - Ellis, James, Henry and John, and a sister - Hannah (siblings all born in Ashton under Lyne) - but can find no trace of any of them anywhere in 1881. The Saville family originated in Yorkshire. Would appreciate any suggestions as to how I can solve this mystery which is really bugging me!! Thanks, Maggie in Leics
