My spinster great great grandmother Ann BANK named her father as Jonas BOOTH on her marriage certificate in 1800s. I have been unable to ascertain proof of this. Her birth in the early 1830s has not been found yet. Also - can someone tell me if the St. Ambrose registers for Grindleton have been copied by the Preston Records Office yet? 2 years ago when I was there, the then holder of the church records would not make them available.
