Can anyone on the list please tell me if indexes are available of Wills held at the Borthwick Institute or elswhere (or wherever), for Wills referred "up the line" because property was held in more than one area. I am trying to find a WIll for John Watson of Preston whom I believe died in the period 1802 -8. His father's Will was probated at Richmond, his brother's at Chester, but I think John's property holdings may have been a bit more complex. Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.
