Hi Listers, I am seeking some help with information for JOHN HARRISON, who married ANN ROBINSON on 8th July, 1788 at Sephton, Lancashire. This is the only date I have for them - do not know births or deaths or parents. Apparently they lived at Litherland between 1788 to 1792 and at Orrill in 1793. They then settled at Sephton and had at least 11 children. Are Litherland and Orrill also in Lancashire? Known children were Henry - buried 25th August, 1799 Henry, born 24/9/1788 Litherland and buried 31/5/1792 at Sephton Margaret, christened 9th June 1793 Sephton Alice, christened 8th October, 1797 Sephton Alice, chr. 8th October, 1799 Sephton Ann, chr. 16th March, 1800, Sephton Alice, chr. 8th October, 1801, Sephton Ellen, chrs. 17th June, 1802, Sephton Henry, born 2/4/1807, chrs. 26/4/1808, Sephton William, born 22/7/1809, our relative who came to South Australia sometime after marrying Mary Ann Berry on 10th March, 1834 at St. Nicholas' Church, Liverpool ?? No details on Mary Ann. Elizabeth Harrison, b. 6/9/1811 chr. 6/10/1811 at Sephton It is possible more of the family may have come to Australia If anybody has any information on the above or are researching this family I would love to hear from you. I can fill you in on quite a bit of info on William after he came to Australia. Any help with my large query, very much appreciated. Judy & Robert jude@bigpond.net.au

Still seeking information on my ancestor, Mary WILKINSON, and she is on the 1881 census in Cardiff as Mary Nicholson, age given as 48,, born Pendleton. She would hve been born around 1833, so is there anyone with access to the parish records for Pendleton or the 1841 census ,who could see if she is there anywhere? I have her son's birth certificate, a John Henry Brown, born in Cardiff in 1862. Mary is on his birth certificate as Mary Brown, late Tomlinson, formerly Wilkinson, so I guess she married a Tomlinson, was widowed, married a Brown, was widowed again and married a Nicholson. I have further information on John H.Brown (jnr) if anyone needs it. I would like to find out if she had other children with her first husband, ??? Tomlinson, who I am guessing she might have married in Lancashire somewhere. By the time John Brown married in 1882, his father, also John Brown was deceased. Any information you can give me on Mary WILKINSON will be much appreciated Thank you Ann (Bristol UK)

Could anybody give me details of ?ST BOOTHAMS FRIENDS SCHOOL, Yorks for example where is it and any known history. After several google searches i have been unable to find much of interest, however from the scant information i have found i believe it could be a Quaker school.
