Morning :-) I collect COCKSHOTT/COCKSHUTT/COCKSHAW and the other 130 spelling variations found so far :-) Just seen this on the net .. burials as Lewisham, Kent. 79. Flat stone: In memory of Mrs Mary COCKSHUTT who died the 7th October 1819 aged 73 years. Also Mrs Elizabeth Cockshutt sister of the above who died the 19th December 1830 aged 80 years. Likewise Mrs Jennet DOUNIE who died the 30th April 1840 aged 94 years also sister of the above. Mary Dounie died January the 2nd 1868 aged 87 years Daughter of the above. Can't quite figure it out but I do have a Jennet COCKSHUTT marrying a Thomas DOUNIE at St. Johns Preston in 1790 Does anyone on this list actually have easy access to the PRs ? and can have a look at this marriage for me ?
