Hello Lilian, I have looked in a B.T. Preston telephone directory for 1996 and I can't find anyone called Buchard or Bastock. There could still be families with these names, but they could have changed to another telephone company. You could write to the Register Office at Preston to see if they have a marriage certificate for Barbard Buchard who would probably have got married about 1965. If you provide as much information as you can, including her father's name, they will know they have the right one. I think they will look at 2 years on either side of the date you ask for. It will cost you £7. There is a man called Antony Lambert who provides a service of supplying certificates. If you do a 'Google' search using his name, you will probably find his website. I hope this helps, Kind regards, Anne in Bolton, Lancashire. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lilian and Morris Bowen" <lmbowen@copper.net> To: <ENG-LANCS-PRESTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 15, 2005 3:21 PM Subject: Looking for my cousin.
