In the 1881 census they were living at 1 Beaconsfield Terrace and they had nine children at home. Elizabeth was probably the person in IGI born 17 August 1835 in Blackburn, christened 27 February 1836 at St. Pauls, Blackburn. Her parents were Ellen and James. Richard was born in Longton (from 1881 census), probably in1835, but that is all I know. Do any readers of this digest know anything more about the ancestors of this family?
