Dear List, I have a couple of old postcards of Preston. If anyone is interested I will email them a copy. Also another of Marsden Hall, Nelson. The postcards of Preston are printed onto aluminium. Does anyone have any info on old postcards, especially aluminium ones. Cheers, Faye (West Australia)

no - but I do have an aluminium card - of the winter gardens pavilion Blackpool. But I have no idea at all of why they printed them on aluminium. I bought mine on e-bay - I sometimes go into schools and talk about histroy and take things and I though this would be interesting to take.
