Hi Jim and other Listers, O.K. I'll jump on the bandwagon while we're all at it and post my interests! John POOL b 1828 in Annan, Dumfries Rose-Ellen, his wife children: James, Susanna, Jane, George( my grandfather), Anthony and wee Rose-Ellen. He took his family from Scotland to live, first in Blackburn C1852 /3 then Preston C1856 until they returned to Annan C1875. I found them living in Hudson Steet, Preston in 1861, John POOL was a draper, journeyman. Hope to find them on the 1871 census (wheneve I have time to order it.)
