    3. Hi, All, I have just received the message from Martin. Just glancing at the list in the last two weeks there have been five queries, but NO replies. I suspect that some of these have been answered direct. It is surprising how much I learn by reading the replies to other people's queries when the replies are sent to the list as well as to the questioner. Perhaps members could consider using the 'Reply to All' button so that a copy of the reply appears on the list. I am sure we would all learn and maybe someone else will realise that they can add to the response and so to our common fund of knowledge. One other plea, can listers give an indication of where in the world they are? I guess that Martin lives in Australia and so it is not much use suggesting to him that he pops into the Harris Library in Preston to check the Census indexes. Hope this helps, Jim Lancaster (Bury, LAN, ENG)

    3. I feel the same way. I never see replies from others posts. I, also would like to see them. I learn from everything I read! Thanks.
