Hi Brian, Do you have a Thomas Hodgkinson, Butcher, marrying in Preston to Rebecca Robinson around 1845? They seemed to live separately in 1881c, he in Rose St., Preston and she in Habergham Eaves with their son Thomas and family. When Rebecca died 29.3.1888 he re-married on 21.5.1888 to Emma Waddell. Thomas was 69 and Emma 39. Both living at Derby St. on marriage certificate. Rebecca Robinson wasthe first child of our Gtx3 grandparents John Robinson & Mary Thornton who married in Preston 1818 although John was born in Brompton, Yorks. Anything connect?
