Hello, I'm new to the list and am researching in the Preston area for my Booth family. I found Richard married Hannah Carter 17 June 1798 in St. Leonard's Church in Walton-le-Dale. Their first 4 children were baptized at St. John's in Preston, and the next 3 were baptized at St. Leonard's. They had 6 more children for whom I have been unable to find baptisms. I have found Hannah's Carter family in Cuerdale, with St. Leonard's as their parish church, but haven't been able to find Richard Booth prior to their marriage.
