Just a note to those of you who prefer your black and white images the old-fashioned way. Some years ago (1998) the Lancashire County Library published a "Guide to Lancashire Local Studies Collections (AGuide to the resources of the Lancashire County Library and Museum Service and the Lancashire Record Office)" I suppose there will have been slight changes here and there but I have no idea if a revision has been made available but I have found that my 213 page "Guide" has been very useful. I have no information as to the cost or availabilty, I got my copy by way of a gift whilst on a visit to England; Thank you Pat. llankyladd
