    3. I have the proverbial brickwall. The information I have is that a Katherine ????? born 1842 in Preston, Lancashire married Archibald HAMILTON around 1868 - 1871. Then the happy couple moved to Windermere, Westmorland and had several children. Archibald HAMILTON was a practising Doctor and JP according to the 1881, 1891 census. Since it was fairly common to marry in the brides parish, I am hoping that some wonderful person can help me with a marriage look up. I have tried the on-line IGI, and FreeBMD. I am unsure of direction now???? Thank you for listening Jocelyn
