In 1934 a journalist called 'AHG' wrote an article for the Lancashire Daily Post about bargees on the Preston to Kendal canal, which is my particular interest as my husband is related to one of the main family the Ashcrofts. I would like to know more about this man. Does anyone know his full name and who he was? Janet
